Job summary

College of the Mainland seeks an LVN Program Coordinator (12 months) to support the Licensed Vocational Nursing program's goals and outcomes. The role includes teaching responsibilities and a wide range of administrative duties to assist the nurse administrator in meeting program objectives.

Qualifications include a Master’s in Nursing (doctorate preferred), Texas RN licensure, and prior nursing education experience.

Qualifications

• Requires Masters in Nursing; doctoral degree preferred for advancement.
• Minimum one year teaching experience in a professional nursing education program.
• Strong knowledge of nursing practice and administration within a Nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and evaluate all aspects of the LVN education program.
• Collaborate with Clinical Coordinator to maintain affiliation agreements with clinical sites.
• Manage program data for accreditation reports and regulatory entities.
• Teach theory and clinical components; advise and evaluate program outcomes.
• Recruit and retain students for the LVN program.
• Lead curriculum development and coordinate faculty workloads.
