Job summary

Cornerstone in Texarkana, TX is seeking PRN LVN/LPN to support the nursing team in delivering high-quality resident care. You will direct and coordinate activities of CNAs, perform basic daily nursing tasks, and issue proper medications under Texas licensure.

Hours

Day shift 6:00am-6:00pm & Night shift 6:00pm-6:00am ($2 Shift Diff)

We are currently seeking PRN LVN's to:

• direct and coordinate activities of CNAs
• perform basic daily nursing functions
• issue proper medications
• meet the nursing needs of our residents in an efficient, economical, and caring manner- while maintaining high standards and quality care

Required Education/Certification/Licensure

• Graduation from an accredited vocational school of nursing and current Texas or Texas compact LVN/LPN license required.

Worker Traits

• Models a service attitude toward others, takes ownership in solving problems and takes the initiative

Training and Experience

• Training or experience in geriatric, psychiatric or medical/surgical nursing desired.

Job Knowledge

• Knowledgeable of human development, including the processes of aging, and of social and health problems confronting older persons.
