Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Orange County is hiring a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide skilled nursing care to pediatric and/or adult patients in their homes. The LVN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care under prescribed orders, and ensure timely documentation.

Applicants must hold an active LVN license in the state, possess current TB or chest X-ray, a current BLS card, and have at least one year of nursing experience preferred. We offer weekly pay, health benefits, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LVN in the state in which the LVN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
