Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services is hiring compassionate LVNs to provide one-on-one private duty nursing for pediatric and adult patients in Orange County. We value tracheostomy and ventilator experience, and pediatric experience is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires LVN license and current California certification.
• Experience with pediatric patients and home health care preferred.
• Experience with tracheostomy and ventilator care encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Provide skilled nursing care to patients with tracheostomies, ventilators, feeding tubes, and other needs.
• Monitor and document patient status and communicate changes to families and physicians.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
• Collaborate with families and healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation.
• Educate patients and families on disease processes and care plans.
• Respond to emergencies and changes in patient condition.
