Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is hiring a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide in-home care to pediatric and/or adult patients in Thousand Oaks, CA. The role offers hourly pay and weekly paychecks, with comprehensive health benefits and a 401(k) plan.

You will deliver skilled nursing services in patients' homes, following orders, using the nursing process and documenting patient data for ongoing care planning. Prior nursing experience is preferred, and active LVN licensure in the state is required.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed LVN in the state where practicing.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year of prior professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Provide skilled nursing care/services per prescribed orders on each assignment.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data from health care team and document nursing diagnoses.
