Job summary

USPI Memorial Hermann Endoscopy Center North Freeway is seeking a motivated LVN PAT to join our team. The Preadmission Nurse coordinates preadmission activities and provides preadmission teaching, serving adult and pediatric patients as needed, and may perform pre-surgery tests.

The LVN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, maintain patient confidentiality, and ensure nursing interventions align with standards of practice. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Texas LVN license.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum 2 years of hospital experience.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare for patient preadmission.
• Meet deadlines and set priorities.
• Deliver direct and indirect patient care per standards.
• Use nursing process to assess and plan care.
• Assist with patient teaching and advocacy.
• Document all records per policy.
