Allergy & ENT Associates is seeking an LVN or Experienced Medical Assistant at our clinics in Fulshear and Memorial.

Locations & Hours:

  • Fulshear: 26750 Farm to Market 1093, Suite 170, Richmond, TX 77406
  • Memorial: 8800 Katy Freeway, Suite 250, Houston, TX 77024

Hours:

  • Monday: 9:00am - 6:00pm
  • Tuesday & Wednesday: 8:30am - 5:00pm
  • Thursday: 9:30am - 6:30pm
  • Friday: 7:30am - 3:00pm
  • Saturday: Closed

Position Summary: To provide quality patient care services under physician/provider supervision, supporting the company's goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Measure and record vital signs
  • Interview patients, update medical information in EHR
  • Prepare patients for examinations, perform screening tests
  • Educate patients on medications and health instructions
  • Administer medications with physician approval
  • Maintain supplies, sterilize instruments, prepare exam rooms
  • Respond to patient calls, coordinate with providers
  • Handle requests and prior authorizations for medications
  • Attend all in-service trainings
  • Travel to other clinics as needed

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant or LVN program, or comparable experience
  • One year medical office experience
  • Current CPR certification
  • Medical Assistant Certification or LVN License
  • Self-directed, detail-oriented, professional demeanor
  • Excellent communication skills

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)

Knowledge & Abilities: Safety and confidentiality adherence, organizational skills, professionalism, time management, active listening, effective communication

Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly, occasional lifting up to 50 pounds, manual dexterity, exposure to communicable diseases and allergens

Work Environment: Indoor office setting, moderate noise, typical schedule Monday to Friday, occasional overtime or travel
