Job summary

Stars Behavioral Health Group in Sacramento is seeking an LVN for an on-call role at our Crisis Residential Program. The position involves direct client care, medication administration, and education following standard nursing practices, with a 12-hour shift from 8:00 am to 8:30 pm.

Starting compensation ranges from $33.00 to $47.00 per hour, reflecting experience and skills. We offer employer-paid medical, dental, and vision coverage, generous time off, and opportunities for paid CEU training

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of licensed vocational nursing or psychiatric technology.
• Valid California LVN or LPT license.
• Current CPR certification.
• One year service experience working as a nurse in a behavioral health field.
• One year medication administration experience.

What you bring to SBHG (qualifications) :

Education:

Graduation from an accredited school of licensed vocational nursing or psychiatric technology required.

Experience

One (1) year service experienceworking as a nurse in a behavioral health field

One (1) year medication administration experience required.

License or Certification:

Valid California LVN or LPT license.

Current CPR certification.

Population Served: At-risk Transition-Age Youth (TAY) needing a higher level of care short of psychiatric hospitalization | Capacity: Up to 15 youth

Facility & Setting: 24/7 Voluntary Residential Facility

Clinical Services: Individual therapy, group rehabilitation, medication management, and clinical case management

Length of Stay: Extended residential treatment timeline(varies based on individual stabilization, recovery, and housing transition goals)
