Job summary

Red Rocks in Gallup, NM is seeking an LPN with management experience to oversee nursing coverage and provide hands-on patient care in a collaborative, supportive environment.

You will supervise non-professional staff, identify training needs with the Nurse Educator, and ensure safe medication management in accordance with company policy. This role offers growth and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have at least one year of nurse management experience.
• Must maintain current BLS/CPR certification.
• Graduate of an accredited school of licensed practical nursing.
• Current state licensure by the State Board of Examiners of Nurses.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing coverage.
• Provide professional guidance and supervision to non-professional unit staff.
• Identify educational needs of the staff and develop training with the Nurse Educator.
• Oversee medication management to ensure adequate supplies and compliance with policy.
• Provide direct patient care along with other unit nurses to maintain skills.
