Job summary

Crestwood Behavioral Health, Inc. is seeking an LVN or LPT to provide direct nursing care in our Sonoma County Healing Center. The role supports recovery-oriented care under physician orders and within scope of practice.

The position requires a California LVN or LPT license, CPR/First Aid certifications, and willingness to work on-call across all shifts. Training and supervision are available in a supportive behavioral health environment.

Qualifications

• Current California LVN or LPT license.
• Knowledge of general nursing theory and practice.
• Ability to supervise and coordinate care.
• Ability to work cooperatively with staff.
• Previous experience in mental health nursing preferred.
• Current CPR and first aid certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to clients per physician orders and applicable care standards.
• Direct non-licensed personnel in delivering client care and operating the unit.
• Assist in unit operations and documentation as directed by nursing leadership.

Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) | Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT)

Job Duties:

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) provides direct nursing care to the clients according to physicians’ orders and applicable client care standards, within their scope of practice. The nurse will provide direction to non-licensed personnel in providing direct client care and operating the unit.

Schedule:

• On Call: All Shifts & Weekends

Qualifications:

• Current licensure in California as an LVN or LPT.
• Knowledge of general nursing theory and practice.
• Ability to supervise.
• Ability to work cooperatively with other staff members.
• Previous experience in mental health nursing preferred.
• Current CPR and first aid certifications.
