Crestwood Behavioral Health is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) to provide direct nursing care to clients in a San Francisco campus setting. You will work under physicians’ orders, supervise non-licensed staff, and uphold client care standards within your scope of practice.

Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) | Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT)

Job Duties: The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) provides direct nursing care to the clients according to physicians’ orders and applicable client care standards, within their scope of practice. The nurse will provide direction to non-licensed personnel in providing direct client care and operating the unit.

Schedule:

• Full-Time: AM & PM (Friday - Monday)

Qualifications:

• Current licensure in California as an LVN or LPT.
• Knowledge of general nursing theory and practice.
• Ability to supervise.
• Ability to work cooperatively with other staff members.
• Previous experience in mental health nursing preferred.
• Current CPR and first aid certifications.

About the Campus: Our San Francisco Geary Crisis Stabilization is a 16-bed facility that provides immediate care for people in the local community with urgent mental health needs. Located in the heart of the Tenderloin district, we are designed to address urgent needs in a densely urban setting. We are committed to stepping up as a premier provider and making a meaningful impact in this underserved community.

The salary range listed below represents the minimum and maximum base pay per hour at the time of posting. Final salary offered to the candidate selected for the position will be based on factors including but not limited to candidate's skills, experience, licensure, and program acuity.

Pay Range:

$40 - $46.37 USD
