Job summary

Reunion Plaza Senior Care and Rehabilitation Center in Texarkana, TX is seeking Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) to join our night shift team from 6pm to 6am. The facility emphasizes long-term and rehabilitative care, with a requirement for supervisory experience and a commitment to high-quality patient care.

As an LVN, you will direct nursing services, administer medications, and oversee staff to ensure excellent resident outcomes in a compassionate environment.

Qualifications

• Current, valid LVN/LPN license.
• Experience in long-term healthcare preferred.
• Management/Supervisory experience required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong written and verbal skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct delivery of patient care in accordance with facility systems.
• Evaluate staffing patterns to meet residents’ needs with the Director of Nursing.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Receive, transcribe, and implement physician orders.
• Implement and evaluate care plans.
• Oversee subordinate staff and duties.
• Organize/coordinate tasks and time allotments.
• Monitor infection control compliance.
• Investigate accidents/incidents.
• Other duties as assigned.
