Job summary

MGA Homecare is seeking LVN nurses to provide in-home care across Texas. Full-time and part-time shifts include 8-, 10-, and 12-hour options, with day and night schedules available.

New graduates are encouraged to apply with the company offering new graduate training. As an MGA Nurse you’ll deliver comprehensive in-home nursing care, educate families, manage medications, and coordinate care plans while enjoying a 1:1 patient load and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Active Nursing License in good standing (required).
• Six (6) months of recent experience as a Nurse in a clinical care setting (preferred).
• Home health experience (preferred).
• Attention to detail.
• Time management skills.
• Effective problem-solving and conflict resolution.
• Good organization and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Administration of prescribed medication, treatments and therapies.
• Documents all activities, assessments, nursing actions, responses and coordination of care.
• Educates the patient and family regarding the disease process, self-care techniques, and prevention strategies, and in meeting the patient's nursing needs.
• Maintain a guaranteed 1:1 patient load.
• Provide care with autonomy and adaptability, scheduling to meet patient needs.
