Responsibilities

• Follow physician instructions on detox protocol and procedures.
• Monitor clients' physical and emotional well-being; vital signs every 4 hours (24 hours, then every 2 hours or per MD order).
• Monitor client's withdrawal signs/symptoms.
• Write notes and reports per protocol.
• Document and report on client's status to team members.
• Transcribe doctor's orders pertaining to detox protocol.
• Assist with medications under supervision.
• Assist clients with personal hygiene.
• Attend meetings and trainings; participate in team problem solving.
• Maintain nursing supplies inventory and order as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
