Job summary

Harris Health System seeks a Licensed Vocational Nurse to deliver patient care and education in ambulatory clinics under supervision. Required are Texas LVN licensure and BLS (AHA). Prior unit experience and certificates are preferred; weekend/holiday coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with Texas LVN licensure.
• BLS certification from an AHA program is required.
• Experience in a clinical setting and unit-specific certificates preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and education in ambulatory clinics under supervision.
• Assist in determining patient needs using the nursing process.
• Coordinate care between healthcare team to support outcomes.
