Job summary

St.-Joseph is seeking a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our growing healthcare team. Under the direction of the RN, the LVN will assist with patient care and documentation, participate in care planning, and help maintain a safe, compassionate environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of vocational nursing.
• Proof of current LVN license required.
• Proof of current CPR certification required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Minimum 1 year of LVN experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying patients' physical and environmental needs with documentation and reports.
• Participate in planning and implementing care with the RN.
• Provide care with infection control measures to protect staff and patients.
• Ensure continuity of quality patient care with proper documentation.
• Prepare regular clinical notes and progress summaries.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and teach self-care techniques.
• Maintain a safe patient environment including emotional well-being.
• Maintain strict client confidentiality at all times.
