Job summary

The Legacy Senior Communities is hiring a LVN for Assisted Living & Memory Support in Plano, TX. This role focuses on implementing and evaluating nursing care per physician orders and following state regulations.

The LVN will work under the supervision of nursing leadership to ensure high quality resident care. The position requires current Texas LVN licensure, CPR certification, and at least one year of nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience.
• Current license in the state of Texas.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care in accordance with the nurse practice act and state/federal regulations.
• Performs admissions and periodic assessments on residents for functional and mental abilities.
• Reviews and revises assessments and care plans at admission, periodically, and with changes in condition.
• Reviews and transcribes physician's orders.
• Administers and documents medications following the five rights (right medication, route, resident, time, dose).
• Observes residents and reports condition changes to physicians and supervisors.
