Job summary

The Legacy Senior Communities seeks an experienced nurse to implement and evaluate all nursing care prescribed for residents in a Texas facility. You will perform admissions, periodic assessments, and plan reviews, ensuring care plans align with regulations.

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
Current license in the state of Texas.
Current CPR certification required.
One year of nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Implement and evaluate all prescribed nursing care for each resident.
Provide services per nurse practice act and nursing center regulations.
Perform admissions and periodic assessments for functional and mental abilities.
Review and revise assessments and care plans at admission and per regulation.
Administer and document medications with five rights.
Provide medical treatments as ordered by physician.
Supervise and monitor medications for residents who self-administer.
Observe residents and report condition changes to physicians and supervisors.
Assist with meeting nutritional/hydration needs and document in nursing records.
Monitor meal times, help feed residents, and ensure confidentiality of health information.
