Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintains nursing service objectives, goals and standards of nursing practices per licensure.
• Evaluates staffing patterns with the Director of Nursing to meet resident needs.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Receives, transcribes, and implements physician orders.
• Implements and evaluates care plans and coordinates with subordinates.
• Directs and oversees subordinates and assigns duties.
• Oversees staff performance and training as needed.
• Ensures infection control compliance and safety.
• Investigates accidents/incidents and documents findings.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
