Job summary

Methodist Retirement Communities seeks Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) at Stevenson Oaks in Fort Worth, TX. The role supports a team in Assisted Living with rotating day shifts from 6:30am–6:30pm, delivering compassionate resident care and medication administration.

Ideal candidates hold a Texas LVN license, with preferred experience in geriatric or medical/surgical nursing. The community emphasizes ICARE values and resident-centered care within a faith-inspired, elder-centered culture.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited vocational school of nursing and current Texas LVN license required.
• Training or experience in geriatric, psychiatric or medical/surgical nursing preferred.
• Knowledgeable of human development, including aging, and health problems of older persons.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate activities of aides.
• Perform basic daily nursing functions.
• Issue proper medications.
• Meet the nursing needs of residents in an efficient, economical, and caring manner—while maintaining high standards and quality care.

Hours: Rotating schedule from 6:30am-6:30pm in Assisted Living.

QualificationsRequired Education/Certification/Licensure:
