Baylor Scott & White Health LLC is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) for a PRN position at a 16-bed small-format hospital in Fort Worth, TX. The LVN will provide safe, compassionate nursing care under RN supervision and support patient care plans in a fast-paced setting.

Required are a high school diploma or GED with LPN/LVN license, 2 years of acute care LVN experience, state licensure, BLS (ACLS preferred), and Pedagogy IV certification within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED and graduated from an approved LPN/LVN program.
• Two years of LVN/LPN experience in an acute care setting.
• Current LVN/LPN license in the state of practice (active).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS certification also required.
• Pedagogy IV Certification must be completed within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to assigned patients under RN supervision.
• Follow patient care plans and organizational policies.
• Document care accurately and timely.
• Conduct focused patient assessments per state nurse practice act.
• Administer medications per policy and document administration.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and the care team on care planning.
