Job summary

Desert Care Network seeks an LVN to coordinate resident nursing care on the SNF/CDP Unit at Hi-Desert Continuing Care Center in Joshua Tree, CA. This full-time role offers a dayshift, 12-hour schedule, and every other weekend, with a generous benefits package.

Applicants must hold a current LVN license with BLS and CPR certifications; IV/phlebotomy is preferred. A sign-on bonus up to $10,000 may apply based on experience.

• BLS certification

• IV/Phlebotomy certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintains current Professional License (LVN) and CPR certification and provides documentation to ensure licensure remains active.
• Completes initial and annual competencies and Health and Safety requirements timely.
• Orients new LVN staff and assists in orienting registry and float staff as assigned.
• Ensures resident care with awareness of Residents' Bill of Rights and Elder Abuse reporting regulations.
• Communicates with Charge RN, team leaders, residents and families to ensure professional information flow.
• Helps maintain a financially sound department by prudent use of supplies and resources.
