Job summary

Torrance Post Acute in Torrance, CA, is seeking a compassionate LVN to join our skilled nursing facility. You will provide direct nursing care under an RN, including medications and vital signs, with documentation of changes.

This full-time AM shift (7AM-3PM) role requires at least 1 year of LVN SNF experience and a CA LVN license. We offer competitive wages and benefits, and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Valid and current California LVN license.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting.
• Strong clinical, assessment, planning, and care implementation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medications and treatments, monitoring vital signs, and documentation of changes.
• Assist with development and implementation of individualized care plans.
• Coordinate care with physicians, therapists and other healthcare professionals.
• Ensure accurate, complete charting and documentation.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
• Educate residents and families about healthcare needs and treatments.
• Respond to emergencies and provide first aid as needed.
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and regulations governing nursing care.
