Job summary

Eastland Sub Acute & Rehabilitation in California is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our clinical team on the FT PM shift (3-11pm). You will provide leadership to CNAs, oversee resident care, and administer medications as ordered, with strong emphasis on accuracy and documentation.

Qualified candidates hold an active CA LVN license, are fully vaccinated (including booster) for COVID-19, and are comfortable in a fast-paced long-term care setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision to certified nursing assistants.
• Oversee the care and wellbeing of residents.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Complete charting and treatment plans/physician orders.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required.
• Make rounds with physicians as requested/necessary.
• Orient and welcome new residents and families.
• Knowledge of Point Click Care (PCC).
• Other duties as assigned.
