Redwood Cove Healthcare Center in Ukiah, California is seeking a compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team. The LVN will provide direct patient care under the supervision of RNs and physicians, supporting residents in a dynamic healthcare setting.

The role requires current California LVN licensure, at least 1 year of healthcare experience (preferably long-term care), strong clinical skills, and excellent communication with residents and families.

Qualifications

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to join our team. The LVN will play a critical role in providing direct patient care and support to our residents under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare setting and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring vital signs.
• Collaborate with registered nurses and other healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for residents.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
• Document patient information, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes, accurately and timely in electronic medical records.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members to provide updates on patient status and address any concerns or questions.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care conferences and contribute to care planning and coordination.
• Adhere to all facility policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations governing nursing practice.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment and ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
