Job summary

Rancho Mesa Care Center in California is seeking a part-time Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for NOC and AM/PM shifts. You will take temperatures, administer medications, assist physicians, and maintain resident records.

Qualifications

• A valid California LVN license or proof that license will be complete or renewed soon.

Responsibilities

• Takes and records temperatures, respiration, and pulse.
• Administers medications prescribed by physician.
• Sets up treatment trays, prepares instruments and other equipment, accompanies and assists physician with treatments.
• Maintains records reflecting residents’ condition, medication, and treatments.
• Assists in maintaining a physical, social and psychological environment conducive to residents’ welfare.
• Maintains knowledge of resident condition at all times.

The anticipated pay range for candidates who will work in California is $32.00 to $38.00 hourly. The offered pay to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, etc.
