Job summary

WEG has an excellent opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer in our Duluth, GA office. The role focuses on LV electrical panel manufacturing, providing technical assistance and engineering support to the manufacturing team, ensuring efficient, cost-effective production and quality standards.

Minimum 3–5 years in a manufacturing environment and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering are required.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or related field is required.
• Experience with design for manufacturing and processes is preferred.
• Proficiency with CAD and MS Office tools.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Engineering (design), quality and production to troubleshoot and optimize panels.
• Develop and maintain documentation including specifications, BOMs and troubleshooting procedures.
• Improve panel designs for efficiency and cost reduction.
• Develop templates and poka-yokes to boost productivity and quality.
• Provide technical assistance for assembly, testing and packing of LV electrical panels.
• Develop and update SOPs for production processes.
