Job summary

JM Family Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Steward/Stewardess for our Marine department to join the Gallant Lady yachts. The position is not live-aboard while at home port, with 2–3 week Caribbean/Bahamas/New England cruises. All boats operate from the Fort Lauderdale/Deerfield area.

The role focuses on interior housekeeping, guest service, bartending, event planning for theme dinners, inventory, and adherence to etiquette and protocol. Strong time management and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Must obtain STCW Basic certificate within 3 months of employment.
• Must have a valid US driver license.
• Must be a US citizen or eligible to work in the US.
• Must have a valid passport.
• Experience in guest services in hospitality marine/food service.
• Knowledge of foods, beverages and service techniques.
• Capable of delivering outstanding guest services and interactions.
• Report and manage inventory levels, restocking, cleaning, etc.
• Strong time management and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining interior housekeeping and guest-cabin care.
• Perform laundering of towels and linens.
• Provide guest service including silver service and bartending.
• Assist in planning and executing theme dinners.
• Assist with inventories, provisioning and updating checklists.
• Maintain knowledge of etiquette and protocol.
• Watchkeeping according to crew station responsibilities.
• Support exterior crew as needed.
• Deliver guest-aligned experiences with high service levels.
• Demonstrate ownership and teamwork to achieve goals.
• Increase guest satisfaction as measured by meetings and surveys.
