CHANEL is seeking a Watch Repair Artisan to join the After Sales Team at the Piscataway, NJ facility. You will provide hands-on repairs, testing, and maintenance for client and stock watches under the supervision of the Watch Repair Center Manager.

This role requires 5+ years of luxury timepiece repair experience, including mechanical movements, chronographs, and quartz movements, with formal watchmaking training or equivalent.

Formación

• 5+ years’ experience in repairing luxury timepieces (diagnostics, battery replacement).
• 18K gold polishing experience.
• High level experience with repairing mechanical movements, automatic chronographs, and quartz movements.
• Formal training in watchmaking or equivalent experience.
• Problem-solving skills, proactive mentality, willingness to learn and grow.
• Computer systems literate and able to enter data for claims and projects.
• Well-organized, detail-oriented, patient, punctual.
• Position requires 5 days in person at the Piscataway location.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect and diagnose CHANEL watches during repairs.
• Repair watches per quality standards; battery service and overhauls.
• Disassemble/assemble mechanical movements; clean and oil.
• Polish internal and external watch components as needed.
• Monitor repair lead times and communicate delays to manager/coordinator.
• Perform post-repair testing for time accuracy, beat error, amplitude, and water resistance.
• Update diagnostic and repair data in the claim system; track spare parts consumption.
• Support inventory control and replenish repair materials.
• Suggest optional repairs to extend watch life and aesthetic.
• Communicate final diagnosis and quotations to workshop coordinator.
• Share technical knowledge with the team; follow trainings.
• Maintain SOPs for repair workshops; align with global guidelines.
• Keep repair workshop clean, organized, and safe.
