Job summary

Vookum is a New York City-based luxury watch dealer and content creator seeking a Luxury Watch Expert for an on-site role to inspect and verify timepieces as they move through our doors.

You will assess condition, authenticity, and completeness of pieces, identify discrepancies, keep detailed records, and work with the team to uphold stringent quality and turnaround standards on coveted brands such as Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, and Omega.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years working with luxury watches in a retail or dealer setting.
• Experience with listing on eBay or similar online marketplaces.
• Familiarity with proper handling of high-value pieces.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and verify luxury watches on intake and outgoing, ensuring each piece matches its documentation
• Assess the condition, completeness, and authenticity of every timepiece
• Identify discrepancies, replaced parts, or anything that doesn't look right
• Keep accurate, detailed records of each piece moving in and out

Vookum is hiring a Luxury Watch Expert to join our team. This is a hands‑on, on‑site role focused on inspecting and verifying timepieces as they move through our doors. If you know luxury watches well enough to know exactly what to look for, this is a role where that expertise takes center stage.

• Hands‑on experience with major brands preferred (Rolex, Omega, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, and similar)
• 2–3 years working with luxury watches in a retail or dealer setting preferred
• Experience with listing on eBay or similar online marketplaces
• Experience with CRM/inventory management software
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
• A strong eye for authentication and detail
• Familiarity with proper handling of high-value pieces
• Reliability, discretion, and a commitment to accuracy
