Job summary

Vesta Home is seeking an Operations Trainer to lead the end‑to‑end training of all warehouse staff, ensuring 99% accuracy and zero damage targets. The role emphasizes safety, design excellence, and process discipline within our luxury home staging operations.

Responsibilities include hands‑on training for picking, staging, inventory control, forklift operations, and tool rollout, with a focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement in a fast‑growing environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in warehouse operations, with furniture/high-value inventory experience.
• Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills; English required, Spanish a plus.
• Ability to mentor others and promote safety and accountability.
• Capable of lifting 50+ lbs and performing the physical duties of the roles being trained.
• Familiarity with tools such as drills, hammers, and levels is a plus; on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver structured, hands‑on training across all fundamental warehouse workflows (picking, staging, inventory management, returns processing, cleaning/refurbishment).
• Train and certify employees on powered industrial trucks (PIT) and material handling equipment with safety protocols.
• Lead onboarding for new hires and tailor training to shift/dept assignments.
• Provide retraining after incidents or misses; track trainee progress and accountability.
• Communicate tool and system updates to staff and support rollout of new tools.
