Job summary

Vesta Home is seeking an Operations Trainer to lead the end-to-end training of warehouse staff, including forklift operators, coordinators, and repair technicians. You will drive a culture of Design Excellence and Owning the Outcome, ensuring luxury inventory is handled with care and precision.

You will design and deliver curriculum, certify employees, and maintain audit-ready records, partnering with CI and Product/Engineering to align SOPs with current practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years in warehouse operations with furniture/high-value inventory handling.
• Expert knowledge of WMS, handheld scanners, and Google Workspace for reporting.
• Must hold current forklift certifications (or ability to become a certified trainer).
• Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills; English required; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver structured, hands-on training across warehouse workflows, picking, staging, inventory management, returns, and quality control.
• Train and certify on PIT and material handling equipment and safety protocols.
• Lead onboarding and tailor training to shifts and departments.
• Provide retraining after incidents and partner with leadership to track progress.
• Support rollout of new tools and act as SME for system questions.
