Loro Piana in the United States is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in daily operations, drive sales, and optimize inventory. The role emphasizes delivering exceptional luxury service and building strong client relationships.

You will lead the team, coach staff, coordinate with HR, and ensure adherence to brand standards while managing cycles, events, and after-sales processes. Weekend availability and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of management and sales experience in luxury retail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP, and other digital tools.
• Excellent leadership, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of sales, operations, and inventory.
• Ability to travel and work weekends.
• Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Store Manager to oversee a successful store team through task delegation, performance management, and utilizing storytelling to convey product knowledge while upholding service/selling standards.
• Identify key opportunities for optimizing sales growth and operational efficiencies.
• Facilitate communication between the store team, the Store Manager, and corporate partners to ensure alignment on sales objectives.
• Support in the sales process by ensuring the highest level of luxury service and navigate critical situations with a high level of professionalism.
• Develop strong relationships with top clients by managing VIC initiatives to reflect an elevated brand image.
• Oversee a successful team by delegating tasks, enhancing product knowledge, and developing service standards.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and feedback to all team members to foster growth and a productive work environment.
• Create career development plans and growth opportunities for team members.
• Participate in scouting and selection of new team members with HR partners.
• Lead team meetings to provide performance updates and priority setting.
• Understand and implement inventory management, scheduling, and store operations; oversee cycle counts and stock consolidations.
• Oversee After Sales processes including alterations, repairs, and spare parts.
• Report store facilities and maintenance issues to ensure safety and functionality.
• Manage store expenses related to P&L, including shipping, supplies, and alterations.
• Ensure internal procedures and administrative tasks are executed properly.
• Enforce labor laws, safety procedures, and sales regulations with corporate support.
