Job summary

Mayflower Inn & Spa in Washington, CT is seeking a dedicated Fitness Instructor to guide guests through their fitness journey from start to finish. Qualifications

• At least two years of experience as a fitness instructor.
• Certification through a nationally recognized organization.
• High energy personality, passionate about health & fitness and helping others achieve their goals.
• Knowledge of fundamentals of exercise science and fitness techniques.
• Understanding of nutrition and diet.
• Demonstrated ability to lead classes effectively.
• First aid and CPR training required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares appropriate equipment, music, and handouts for each class.
• Prepare fitness room to guest specifications.
• Teaches scheduled classes and ensures sessions start/end on time.
• Instructs patrons on effective workout methods and proper techniques.
• Assists guests and maintains a positive exercise experience.
• Ensures guest comfort and safety throughout the class.
• Promotes spa services, treatments, and programs.
• Keeps certifications up to date and participates in trainings.
