Job summary

Tempur Sealy is seeking a Tempur-Pedic Sales Associate to deliver exceptional customer service while selling Tempur-Pedic products in our San Diego store. This role may serve in management capacity when the Store Manager is unavailable, including opening/closing responsibilities.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 1–3 years of luxury retail experience, and strong consultative sales skills. Candidates should be comfortable with retail software and able to stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of retail experience with luxury or custom products.
• Strong consultative sales skills.
• Ability to lead, direct, and train others in a store setting.
• Familiar with current retail software / POS systems.
• Must be able to stand for lengthy periods and lift items as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and maintaining responsibility for the overall performance of the store.
• Provide leadership in all areas of the sales process, including customer service and brand standards.
• Continue to perform all Retail Sales Associate responsibilities at an exceptional level.
• Assist the Store Manager in identifying deficiencies and solving problems in the store and within the sales team.
• Assist with merchandising and implementing company programs.
• Solve problems within the sales team and escalate larger issues to the Store Manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
