Job summary

L’Ermitage Beverly Hills is seeking a Server for Costa Covo, our restaurant and bar. You will greet guests, take and enter orders, deliver meals and beverages, and provide personalized service reflecting luxury hospitality.

Knowledge of the menu, beverage, wine, beer, and cocktails is essential. A polished demeanor and the ability to upsell and create memorable experiences are highly valued in this role.

Qualifications

• 1+ year professional serving experience in a high-volume restaurant.
• Strong beverage knowledge: cocktails, wine, beer.
• Available and willing to work flexible hours.
• Demonstrates strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to prioritize, delegate, and work under pressure while maintaining hospitality.
• Knowledge of Food & Beverage or hotel operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet, seat guests, take orders, and enter orders into the POS.
• Suggest menu pairings and communicate daily specials to guests.
• Maintain knowledge of table numbers and seating arrangements.
• Set up dining areas and exterior spaces per service standards.
• Ensure timely service, anticipate guest needs, and upsell where appropriate.
• Handle payments, reconcile cash, and follow policies for tips and service charges.
