La Posada at Pusch Ridge in Oro Valley, AZ, is seeking a skilled Sous Chef to lead a high-end kitchen. This full-time role requires culinary leadership, supervision of cooks, and a passion for excellence in dining experiences for residents.

You will monitor food quality, determine production schedules, and contribute to the brand-new community's culinary standards with creativity and precision.

Qualifications

2+ years as Sous Chef or Food Production Manager.
1+ year supervisory experience.
Graduate from a Hotel/Restaurant/Institutional Management program or equivalent experience.
Serve Safe Manager certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

Check quality of raw and cooked foods to ensure standards are met.
Monitor sanitation practices to comply with regulations.
Supervise cooks and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
Plan production schedules and staff requirements for timely service.
Recruit and hire kitchen staff as needed.
Collaborate with Executive Chef to ensure proper setup for catered events.
