Qualifications

• 2+ years of Sous Chef or Food Production Manager experience.
• At least 1 year of leadership experience supervising staff.
• Culinary training or Hotel/Restaurant program or equivalent experience.
• Serve Safe Manager certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Check the quality of raw or cooked food products to ensure that standards are met.
• Supervise or coordinate activities of cooks or workers engaged in food preparation.
• Determine production schedules and staff requirements.
• Recruit and hire staff such as cooks and kitchen workers.
• Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing, or presentation.
