Job summary

Tradition Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Dining Room Server for our Dallas - Prestonwood community. This full-time role involves timely meal preparation, high-quality presentation, and ensuring a safe, sanitary dining area in accordance with regulatory guidelines.

You will report to the Director of Dining and support a team focused on delivering exceptional resident experiences in a luxury senior living environment.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience cooking in a restaurant setting.
• Posses strong culinary skills.
• Knowledge of restaurant style service as related to meal preparation and service and timing.
• Ability read and follow recipes.
• Possesses sound organizational and time management skills.
• Possesses good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to our resident's fine dining experience by providing excellent customer services and managing high level tasks in a fine dining setting.
• Be able to style, quality and timeliness of meal service.
• Make sure to keep the kitchen and service areas clean.
• Meal presentation (appealing plate, entrée availability and timeliness of preparation).
• Guest relations, (resident/guest interaction, and communication).
• Inventory control
