Job summary

Tradition Senior Living, LP in Dallas Prestonwood is seeking a full-time Dining Room Server. You will prepare meals according to approved recipes, ensure timely service, and help maintain a clean, safe dining environment in accordance with regulatory guidelines.

The role works under the Director of Dining in our Food & Beverage department and requires at least one year of restaurant cooking experience and strong culinary skills.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience cooking in a restaurant setting.
• Possesses strong culinary skills.
• Knowledge of restaurant style service as related to meal preparation and service and timing.
• Ability read and follow recipes.
• Possesses sound organizational and time management skills.
• Possesses good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to our resident's fine dining experience by providing excellent customer services and managing high level tasks in a fine dining setting.
• Be able to style, quality and timeliness of meal service.
• Make sure to keep the kitchen and service areas clean.
• Meal presentation (appealing plate, entrée availability and timeliness of preparation).
• Guest relations, (resident/guest interaction, and communication).
• Keep food production records, temperature logs, cleaning schedules.

We are currently seeking a Full-time Server at our Dallas - Prestonwood community. In this role, you will be responsible for the timely preparation of meals with a high-quality presentation. Prepare meals according to approved recipes and preparation guides. Assist with sanitation of the food service areas and the receiving and inventory of supplies and products. Maintains a safe, sanitary environment and follows regulatory guidelines. The Dining Room Server reports directly to our Director of Dining who oversees day to day operations of the community's Food & Beverage department.
