Saks OFF 5TH in California is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver a memorable luxury‑value shopping experience. You will greet customers, recommend merchandise, and build relationships that drive repeat visits and Saks credit card usage.

You'll stay informed on current promotions and product knowledge, maintain attractive displays, and support store programs and events while meeting personal and store sales goals in a fast-paced luxury environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in a retail, customer service, or sales environment.
• Proven sales track record and results-driven mindset.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service and build relationships.
• Knowledge of fashion industry and trends.

Responsibilities

• Recommend and locate merchandise based on customer needs.
• Be familiar with store inventory to advise on products.
• Greet customers and inform them about current promotions.
• Foster repeat business by building relationships and promoting Saks credit card.
• Process sales transactions using the POS system.
• Resolve customer issues with trust, integrity and respect.
• Meet individual and store sales and loyalty goals.
• Assist in maintaining selling floor and fitting rooms.
• Complete markdowns and signage per standards.
• Participate in store programs and events.
• Maintain display and brand-aligned presentation.
• Support asset protection and loss prevention procedures.
• Assist leadership with special tasks and projects.
