Job summary

Johnny Was in California is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to contribute to the store experience, greet customers, sell products, and provide styling expertise. You will manage the cash wrap, restock, and overall shopkeeping while creating a warm, VIP customer experience at every visit.

The ideal candidate has a friendly, outgoing personality, strong customer service skills, and the ability to build a client base while adapting to night and weekend shifts and events.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of retail experience, preferably in women’s contemporary fashion.
• Experience with iPad-based POS and email.
• Ability to work retail hours including days, nights, weekends, and events.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

The Retail Sales Associate is a talented, hardworking, and an enthusiastic individual who will contribute to the Johnny Was retail experience, as well as provide exceptional service in all aspects of the sales floor – greeting customers, selling, product knowledge, styling, cash wrap, restock and overall shop keeping. Create a warm and inviting environment where clients feel welcomed, engaged and that their business is of the utmost importance. Create an elevated and VIP customer experience at every opportunity by offering your name, a beverage and connecting in a genuine and authentic way Build repeat business by ensuring all client capture tools and strategies around data capture, outreach, and follow up are consistently executed Meeting customer issues with patience while being solution oriented for the highest good of the client Provide an individualized and positive experience for all customers entering the store, this includes providing great service, effectively answering any questions, and helping process transactions and return.
