Job summary

Jenni Kayne is seeking a part-time Sales Associate for Woodbury Common. You will maximize sales, deliver exceptional customer service, and build relationships with clients while handling POS transactions and maintaining visual displays.

The role requires 1–2 years in retail, strong communication, and availability on weekends/holidays. Experience with POS and inventory systems, and proficiency in Word and Excel are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of retail sales experience, preferably in women's upper contemporary, multi-label or luxury designer.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work during peak periods – weekends and holidays.
• Experience with POS and Inventory Management systems, Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Maximize sales and provide friendly, welcoming customer service.
• Communicate with customers to determine their needs.
• Build relationships with clients and maintain a client book.
• Drive sales through consignments and partnerships with interior designers and wardrobe stylists.
• Handle all POS transactions including sales, exchanges, refunds, gift cards and gift wrap.
• Support store operations, displays, stock transfers, and receiving new merchandise.
• Encourage sign-ups for Jenni Kayne Rewards and social media engagement.
• Share feedback with management and write daily business recaps.
• Protect company assets through loss prevention per policy.
