David Yurman South Coast Plaza is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to drive sales, profitability, and a luxury client experience. You will lead on the sales floor, coach staff, and partner with the Store Manager to ensure policy adherence and operational excellence.

The role emphasizes client development, staff leadership, and the execution of events, while maintaining brand standards and visual presentation in a high-end environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of proven experience managing in a similar luxury retail role with joint responsibility for sales and operations.
• Ability to motivate, establish strong business partnerships, and promote professionalism with both clients and staff.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to drive results and strategic vision to develop business.

Responsibilities

• Achieve and/or exceed sales plan by partnering with sales professionals to meet plans and KPI.
• Support sales professionals in closing sales and in special events to maximize the store’s performance.
• Maintain the luxury environment and ensure visual guidelines are followed to reflect the brand image.
• Oversee opening/closing and daily floor activities in the absence of the Retail Store Manager.
• Provide leadership and coaching to staff, conduct regular performance discussions, and reinforce KPIs.
