Job summary

Hermès Chicago Boutique is seeking an Assistant Manager to partner with the Managing Director and Floor Director to run all aspects of the business, including sales growth, client development via CRM, and staff coaching in a fast-paced luxury environment.

You will supervise daily operations, model exemplary service on the shop floor, coach colleagues, analyze sales data, and coordinate seasonal trainings and recruiting efforts to maintain Hermès standards and an exceptional client experience.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of retail management experience, luxury environment preferred.
• Must possess basic office skills including proficiency in Excel, Word, Cegid and E-time.
• Ability to learn merchandise, POS and payroll systems; effectively troubleshoot.
• Ability to interpret sales data and translate into effective business recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Daily supervision of staff (coaching, training and assisting in achieving sales objectives).
• Demonstrates active management presence on the sales floor modeling exceptional service.
• Identify sales opportunities and apply them with personal goals to improve boutique performance.
• Conduct monthly touch-base meetings and annual performance evaluations with leadership.
• Ensure CRM standards are followed and client data captured with Hermès accuracy.
• Monitor scheduling and HR records for attendance and vacations.
• Organize seasonal trainings and recruit/interview to fill open positions.
