Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Knowledge of OpenTable platform.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously.

• Ability to interact graciously with the public and handle multiple duties at the same time.
• Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills.
• "Win together" mentality.
• Role requires standing, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting and carrying 35 pounds.
• Associates must be willing to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, which will include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat customers at the host stand/door professionally and graciously.
• Monitor server performance to ensure smooth service during the dining experience.
• Observe proper telephone etiquette.
• Handle reservations through OpenTable (including VIPs) and answer inquiries about hours, specials, events, etc.
• Organize reservations, maximize seating during operating hours, and optimize staffing and customer traffic.
• Adhere to established accounting procedures for all transactions and maintain knowledge of the POS system.
• Keep flow of service to standards (e.g., correct seating at each station).
• Participate in daily pre-shift meetings.
• Fulfill duties that may involve lifting objects (tables, chairs, etc.).
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of menus and menu covers.
• Maintain highest hygiene standards.
