Job summary

The Grand Geneva Resort & Spa, operated by The Marcus Corporation, is recruiting a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead guest room and public space cleanliness. You will inspect spaces, guide staff, and ensure availability of supplies, maintaining the resort’s high standards.

Applicants should have six months of supervisory or one year of housekeeping experience, with proficiency in MS Office and a Property Management System, plus strong organization and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months of supervisory or one year of relevant housekeeping experience.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft applications and Property Management Systems.
• Ability to read and write basic English for reports and forms.
• Capable of giving clear direction and guidance to team members.

Responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and corridors for cleanliness and quality.
• Monitor housekeeping staff performance and ensure timely task completion.
• Provide organization, guidance, and communication to uphold high standards.
• Ensure carts and linen closets are clean, organized, and stocked.
• Inspect VIP rooms and spot-check rooms for quality, reporting maintenance issues.
• Handle special guest requests and assist with deliveries.
• Maintain staffing levels and oversee housekeeping department operations.
• Report suspicious activity or hazards to Loss Prevention and assist guests.
