Job summary

Hacienda Del Sol is seeking housekeeping staff to maintain and prepare 10–15 guest rooms daily with care and a commitment to high standards. You will contribute to a welcoming guest experience by delivering friendly, professional service while upholding the property's image and responding to guest requests with honesty and respect.

This full-time, hourly position offers a compensation package including a percentage of service charges, plus medical, dental, vision benefits and exclusive resort

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in housekeeping tasks.
• Able to work well within a team and follow instructions.
• Good time management and ability to meet shift deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Make beds and change out linens/towels.
• Vacuum carpets, upholstered furniture and draperies.
• Empty wastebaskets, clean ashtrays and transport waste to disposal areas.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Dust, polish furniture and equipment.
• Replenish supplies such as drinking glasses, linens, writing supplies and bathroom items.
• Clean kitchen areas and dishes.
• Demonstrate excellent attention to detail.
• Respond promptly to requests by guests and other department managers.
• Observe precautions to protect guests and hotel property.
• Report all theft, damage and found property to the Supervisor or Manager on Duty.
• Assist in cleaning public areas when needed.
• Maintain the cleanliness of housekeeping closets and carts.
• Manage time to complete all assigned tasks by the end of the shift.
• Work as a team to ensure everything gets done daily.
• Organization and thoroughness.
• Preparing rooms in minimal length of time while respecting guest privacy.
• Check and flip or report mattress rotation needs.
• Follow all procedures in the HDS Employee Handbook.
