Job summary

Loews Ventana Canyon Resort is seeking a dependable Grounds Person to maintain the hotel’s outdoor spaces in excellent condition, year-round. You’ll manage lawns, gardens, walkways, and parking areas with a focus on safety and visual appeal.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to operate mowers and trimmers, and a collaborative approach with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction and property standards. Training sessions are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Prior groundskeeping experience, hospitality setting preferred.
• Ability to operate and maintain landscaping tools safely.
• Attention to detail and pride in pristine outdoor spaces.

Responsibilities

• Maintain lawns, gardens, walkways, and parking areas.
• Mow, trim, plant, and weed as part of routine upkeep.
• Monitor irrigation systems and conserve water.
• Operate landscaping equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect and repair outdoor fixtures and pathways as needed.
• Assist with outdoor event setups and lighting checks.
• Report maintenance hazards to supervisors promptly.
• Attend required trainings and adhere to safety protocols.
