Job summary

Brasada Ranch is seeking a Groundskeeper I to maintain the resort grounds and provide outstanding service to guests and owners. You will work under the Landscaping Supervisor, follow training on landscaping tools, and meet physical demands of the job.

Responsibilities include mowing, edging, pruning, throwing litter, and collaborating with the team to keep outdoor areas well maintained. Schedule includes weekends and extended hours as business dictates.

Qualifications

• Valid Oregon Driver’s License required.
• Basic knowledge of landscaping procedures, responsibilities and expectations.
• Basic knowledge of landscaping tool utilization preferred.
• Regular standing, walking, climbing or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• Lifting and carrying 25lbs frequently and may occasionally lift or move up to 50lbs.
• Work in adverse weather; cold/heat; rain/snow.

Responsibilities

• Mow or edge lawns using power mowers or edgers.
• Care for established lawns by mowing, weeding, trimming or edging around flower beds, walks, or walls.
• Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, saws, and hedge or brush trimmers.
• Prune or trim trees, shrubs, or hedges using shears or pruners.
• Ability to use backpack blower.
• Gather and remove litter from all areas of property.
• Take on special landscaping or planting projects as deemed necessary.
• Collaborate with team to ensure grounds and building are well cared for and teamwork is essential.
• Communicate landscaping/irrigation issues with team leaders.
• Self-motivation and ability to organize duties to maintain landscaped areas.
• Perform additional responsibilities and duties as assigned.
